Terms of Service
Effective date: 12 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of UK CBAM Report at this site and your purchase of the report we provide. By using this site or buying a report, you agree to these Terms.
1. What you are buying
UK CBAM Report sells a one-time personalised readiness report (£39). The report screens the details you supply against the confirmed UK CBAM rules and gives your in-scope answer against the £50,000 threshold, your key dates, an estimated cost with the method shown, and a supplier-data checklist.
2. The report is general information and a planning estimate, not advice
The report is provided for general informational purposes only. It is an automated readiness assessment and a planning estimate, not a professional service, and not tax, legal or accounting advice. It does not create any professional relationship and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified adviser reviewing your specific imports, customs values and supply chain. Only HMRC guidance and the enacted legislation are definitive on your CBAM position. A number the report shows as an estimate is a planning figure to size the obligation, not a tax computation or a quote.
3. Estimates use placeholder and illustrative constants
At the current date, several official CBAM figures are not yet published, in particular the per-good default emissions values and the quarterly rate. Where an official figure does not exist, the report uses a clearly labelled placeholder or illustrative constant and says so. Cost figures are shown as a band and carry the caption that they are illustrative, not official. You must re-run your position once HMRC publishes the official values, and you should not rely on an estimate as an official liability.
4. No warranty
The report and this site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. The assessment relies on published policy and legislation that may be updated, and on figures that are in part pending. We do not warrant that the report is accurate, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UK CBAM Report, its operators and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site or the report, including any tax, penalty, assessment or dispute concerning your imports. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the report or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the report. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Refunds
Because the report is a digital product delivered promptly, refunds are provided for delivery failure, for example if you paid but did not receive your report, or it could not be generated for the details you supplied. Email hello@ukcbamcheck.co.uk and we will re-deliver it or refund your purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to resell, republish or redistribute the report as your own product; scrape or systematically extract content from the site; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure; or use the site or report for any unlawful purpose. The report is licensed to you for your own internal business use.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its design, its text and the report format are owned by UK CBAM Report and protected by intellectual-property laws. The gov.uk guidance and UK legislation referenced belong to their respective sources. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the report you purchase for your own purposes.
9. Third-party services
Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Analytics are provided by Fathom Analytics. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services, though we choose them with your privacy in mind (see our Privacy Policy).
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to them.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
